Product Description

WLCo-12 powder produces a deposit for high heat and corrosion resistance, with excellent wear properties. The Machineability, WLCo-12 powder makes it a good choice for knife cutting edges in the carpet, paper, and plastic industry. It could be considered as an intermediate alloy between WLCo-6 and WLCo-1. It contains a higher fraction of hard, brittle carbides than WLCo-6, and has increased resistance to lowangle erosion, abrasion, and severe sliding wear whilst retaining reasonable impact and cavitation resistance. It can be used at temperature up to 700˚C. WLCo-12 powder deposits provide resistance to all types of wear, including galling. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.
